Mr. Timothy Ranja has a Master of Science in Regional Planning (Sustainable Infrastructure and Environmental Management) from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, and a Bachelor of Arts from Kenyatta University, Kenya. He worked as Assistant Research Fellow with both ESRF and the Globalization project from December 2001 to August 2004. Before that Mr. Ranja was an energy policy analyst with the African Energy Policy Research Network (AFREPREN) secretariat in Nairobi, Kenya. He also authored several papers and articles on energy planning in Africa.
